According to the dictionary explains that Sonograms is an image, as of an unborn fetus or an internal body organ, produced by ultrasonography. Also called echogram, sonograph, Also called ultrasonogram.

There are a few type of image technique technology for the past decade until today such as 2D image scanning, 3D image viewing and 4D image ultrasound for the unborn baby who is in progressing of growing in the mother womb. During this 9 months and 10 days the sonograms can tell in almost accurate information of how many week is the life of the unborn fetus, his/her weight and the condition of the fetus.

Sonogram technology is the technique of scanning the image of the unborn baby who is in progress of growing inside the mother womb to know in estimation of his/her weight, number of weeks of the child, the health condition and the physical growing condition of the baby.

For popular sonograms or ultrasound today is 3D ultrasound and 4D ultrasound. As I learned from the doctor and reading that 4D is actually using the 3D ultrasound technology to produce and capture or scanning image of the baby with adding some feature of 4D technology.

However, it is said that the 4D image technology is higher in quality to see the real image of the unborn child than the 3D ultrasound image. So you might want to find out at the maternity clinic or at the maternity hospital for 4D ultrasound image.

How much does it cost to do Ultrasound/Sonogram?

Technology is very advancing and this machine exist almost all of the maternity clinic with having modern equipments and those who can afford they get 4D Ultrasound machine at the present as people are looking to do only 4D ultrasound as it can see the clear scanning image and the shape of the baby inside the womb.

According to my own experience it doesn't cost much because of the competition today that almost every places has the 3D or 4D Ultrasound scan machine. You will need to spend only about $5 or $7 to do the quality check up and scanning image of the unborn fetus in Cambodia maternity clinics or maternity hospital.
