Sir,
I had used your courier services to send a courier to City(your city),
Country from City, Country dated ................... The courier company
had told me that
this parcel which I checked with courier service company office before I
decided to sent
the 2 items. As it was told from your staff with your main phone
number 01xxxxxxxx which I called on (date, time) around 3pm.
I was told that the shipping of the items within 5kg will cost me (charged) and express clearance tax around $xx (could be a bit less or more depend on the value of the item under $1000) using my cooperate account No. xxxxxx (company name). Unfortunately, our shipped items was 7kg with the value of USDxxx (Amount of Dollar).
The two items were shipped over from City, Country to City, Country with the email reference to (your company) on (Date, Time) from Mr. abcd Customer Service which stated that (your company) have to provide this information:
- Required documentation
Copy of your VAT
Certificate
Copy of your Patent
Copy of passport/ID card of Authorized Sign.
- Airport Warehouse Storage Charges
* Over 7 days USD 0.04 per kilogram, per day.
(Courier company) will absorb the first 6 days cost at USD 0.08
per kilogram.
* A fraction of xxkg is counted as xxxkg
- Authorization Letter USD x.xx
· Duty & Taxes Charge USD xxx.xx
· Clearance Charge USD xxx.xx
With this regard, it made up the cost of Duty & Taxes and Clearance charge to almost $xxx. After calling to follow up and check with your office nobody accepts to provide me with the wrong information which is basically cheating customer.
The more we try to reach your staff, the more trouble we had with requirement of providing more information and related to line ministry such as (ministry support letter) asking for the permission letter.
Finally, we ignore and interrupt your style of working and our staff went to clear the item without using any support documents or support letter from (ministry support letter). We only took the shipping document from your company to clear at the airport which cost us $300.
With this regard, the original known charge for this courier for 2 electronic items was about $xxx or less but with your fault information provided to me cost us way more than expected.
I am so very frustrated they way you providing information and dealing business with customer while I put whole trust on your courier services.
Kindly tell me with providing your clear clarification. Please register my grievance ASAP and as I am
mentally and physically tired. I will be thankful to you.
