EDC Electricity for Business

Power is very important for modern generation like today to ease life in way that can help produce enough light and power generation for businesses. Electricity usage not just contribute to the easiness in lifestyle but also help a lot in term of doing business with small and medium business enterprise.

For home user will mainly use the electricity for home equipment like cooking, light-up in the house to make it bright, air-conditioner, refrigerator, or sound system in the house. But business will consume more electricity than home user because they have more equipment and work including process of production.

Last month, we moved the office to this new location and we really enjoy the new place where we have the office working that everyone can enjoy the comfortable of its facilities equipped in this building. We have all the new office design with beautiful decoration that come with nice glasses wall, windows and doors including the main entrance door.

Everyone like the new work place. We even have our own cubical area for our own work to keep us separate from one another for privacy work. The cubical area have all the power outlet to give electricity for our working equipment like desk computer, lamp, sound system and lighting. More than this we have the air-con to give our working atmosphere cold temperature enough for working.

The main power use is with air-con and computer system set for each of us. More power that use is with the counseling department team and production team because they have big room with big air-con capacity to produce enough cold air for them to sit down and work. So far we really enjoy the new office and our works.

Advantages of EDC Power Supplier

EDC is belonging to the government, any profits will help to increase the capital to the government to distribute and share for the purposes of helping the country. Collecting money from clients like from home users, factories and business locations and restaurants is million of dollar in profit per month.

EDC creates jobs for many people by hires them to work in different departments and responsibility to ensure the services is running well to support the business and domestic uses of power. Disadvantages of EDC Power Supplies

EDC has the power to sell to its clients and make more money for the government but find them difficult to manage the resources that they have by selling part of the services to the middle man who is doing business in electricity supplies at main provinces, districts, villages and communes.

By selling part of the services supplies to the middle man of course they will loose profits that they would maximize the earning to support the expenses of the government. If they sell 700 riel per one kilowatt per hour, the middle man can sell up to 200 riel per one kilowatt per hour to their customers. The middle person actually make more money than the main power supplier and abuse the price on its clients.

Services to Improve

Last week, I just had some bad experience with the EDC because they cut of the electricity without any inform. Usually they issue the bill to cover from middle of the previous month to the following month and deliver the bill the following week and give grace period to pay bill about one or two week the maximum.

Somehow, the bill was issue with the changes of due date to pay bill and the bill was delivered late to our place. Then it caused us to make the payment late to EDC. On that following day early morning they send people to cut of the line which we cannot do anything since that morning. So in about 20 minutes after cutting the power, we went to pay the fined of 50000riel to EDC and they promise to make the connection for us at 2pm on the same day.

Even though we didn't have enough power to do our works but we strike to do the work that was not required power. So we just work and waiting to see the power back at 2pm. Unfortunately our waiting was very frustrated. We call to follow up and EDC responded that their people were busy cannot manage to come at 2pm. They said we have to wait until 5pm.

There were no other choice for us as we cannot hire anyone else to fix the problem for us by getting the connection up but only EDC itself. So we had to follow up with them 10th of times on that afternoon just because after paying the fine their services is so late. Nothing we can do on that day only wait and wait by just sitting down at our desk and yawning looking at one another without walking.

EDC Fixing Services  

Almost 5pm, we saw the struck with ladder came at the front of our building. They park the car and one guy came down with the ladder carrying it toward the electricity tower where connecting the line to our building.

He then set up the ladder and climbed up to the power supplies box to open it and switched on for us. And that's what he suppose to do since the morning but take almost the whole day to connect the power back. Actually anyone can switch it back but in the policy if anyone switch it without permission from EDC then the fine is even triple and facing problem with the company. So we chose to just wait which was not a pleasant choice though.
