Guard Houses for Daily House, Office Guards

Why need guard house? It is pretty much common for today to have a guard house setup in front of the house or building especially for big building located on the busy place or company with busy business activities.

The advantage of putting guard house is to protect the property of the house/building and those who are involving in daily basis activities in the house. A guard house can setup at one corner of the house and mostly at the front left, front right or at the center of the house where the main gate is.

Other location where guard house can be found is located inside the building campus just connect to the fence of the main gate enable guard to keep good interaction and assist guests.

In a big picture, if there is no guard house setup by the building then the guard has to place to sit and assist the guest. To have a guard house will help the guard to keep his/her eyes on the building and business activities where they can help guests who are not familiar with the house or business as well. More than just helping guests, the guard is someone who will protect the property or any kind of unwanted attacks.

Recently, I was looking for a company to build a guard house in front of my working place and I found several company to do that but the material they use to build the guard house is really simple but they charge so high price. It is just a few pieces of steel for the frame, and the zinc roof. The size of the construction is 1.2m x 1.2m with 2m height.

Regarding Guard House, I have 3 quotations from 3 different companies as below:

• Chor Pon Printing (Size 1.2m x 1.5m and height 2m) cost $750
• Dai Ek (size 1.2m x 1.2m and height 2m) cost $320
• Choung Ros (size 1.2m x 1.2m and height 2m) cost $170

What do you think about this price and I guest I will use the cheapest one as they use almost the same quality of material with much cheaper in price. It is only $170.

I am thinking about getting installing the ceiling fan and putting a chair inside the guard house so he can seat in a comfortable during working hours. At night the guard don't have to seat inside the guard house anymore. He will just guard inside the building within the house but will not be able to access inside the building though.

At least it is a modern guard house having a strong frame structure that last for several years. Some people who know how to build it they will do it by their own and not hire someone or company to do it because It is going to cost more money.

Somehow, I have no ability or knowledge to build the guard house to I can only get a company to build the guard house for me with the dimension of 1.2m x 1.2m and 2m heights at $170 costing. It is made from steel with zinc roof. What do you think about this?

For better security in the house and people who live and work in the house video camera or home alarming systems is the best to go with even though having a security guard and guarding house in front of the building.
