One you get your fly details, you will notice if you have decided to make a direct fly to Phnom Penh International Airport as wished or not. At the time you are flying you will arrive at the airport which is not so big compare to other airports in the world but you will surely enjoy the moment you are arriving.
At the entrance point you want to get your visa by paying around USD25 at the visa stand that's good for one month visiting Cambodia. However, for some Asian nationalities you don't need visa to enter Cambodia according to the agreement for each country that may apply. Check your local agency whether you need the visa or not.
After getting your visa stamped, you can grab your luggage, bags and then walk to the front to meet the hotel/guesthouse carriers or get a taxi to town. A taxi would cost you USD10 from the airport to the city.

Transportation in Cambodia
There are 3 main transportation mean across the Kingdom. The first category and the most popular one is by national road traveling using motorbike, car, minibus and bus. I guess there are around 70% to 80% using their own transportation means and between 30% to 40% using taxi to go from one point to another.
If you rent a car or minibus to go around town it will cost you around $30 to $40 per day for sightseeing and touring around the major tourist sites. Going out of town maybe a bit more expensive which will cost around $80 to $150 depend on what type of transportation you will be using.
Tuk Tuk is another favorite transpiration in town just lately found on their services serving local people and foreigners. The cost is about $15 to $20 per day. The minimum start price is around $1 to go from one destination to another destination. It is recommend if you want a good sightseeing just in city.
