Kampot is one of the province located on the southwest part of Cambodia which is also one of the famous yellow sand beach report that attracts thousand of visitor coming to this place. Khmer Pepper (Kampot Pepper) grow in the soil of Kampot province in the mountain area which enable the pepper growing well in this tropical area.
The mountain site area of Kampot province can produce pepper more than local demand and made possible for exporting. Pepper from Kampot province originally brought in by french who took controlled over Cambodia for almost one hundred years.
These french people brought in the pepper tree and grow it in Kampot and exist till today after they study the soil and found it is good for this plantation. Khmer Pepper or Kampot Pepper known is one of the best pepper in the world.
Green Kampot Pepper
I can tell you, I am the pepper lover. For every food I eat I add the pepper in to make the food taste good and the green pepper from Kampot is really really nice.
It is good for almost every dishes that I eat. One of the dish that I like the most is green pepper with sea crab from Kampot province. The second favorite is any dishes of seafood with pepper.
Black Kampot Pepper
Ripe pepper which is known as black pepper after the green stage, it is becoming black by itself. Black pepper can put in any soup or whatever you like actually. I put the pepper in almost everything in my everyday food.
